Never be afraid to get creative with what you already have.

On Sunday, November 18, 2018, we hosted our first run of The Queerative Market right here in our own backyard. With help from our landlord, we were able to clean up and setup our own event space behind our apartment.

Being able to utilize our own space and make it our own saved us a lot of money. A special thank you goes out to my team at Trader Joes allowing me to take home pallets every night. I assembled them to create booths underneath the covered parking area in the back of our apartment building. As the vendors and artists showed up for the event, they were able to make the space their own with their own unique setups.

With the success of this event, I am reminded to never underestimate vision when it comes to scarcity and to never be afraid to reach out and ask for help.

This was only the beginning of The Queerative Market and I am excited to see it grow. Below you will find a few images from the market. Please click the event gallery button below for full event images.
